He is also a Digital Forensics professor in the Master in CyberForensics at New York Institute of Technology, Information Security Management in the lato sensu postgraduate program Information Technology Governance at the Superior School of MPU (ESMPU), Information Security Leadership at Insper – Higher Education in Business, Law, Engineering and Computer Science, and the Postgraduate Program in Digital Investigation at WB Educational.

He has extensive experience in the area of digital crime investigations and information security, having worked at MPF for more than ten years as head of ICT Expertise, head of the Information Security Division and also of the Information Security Center of PGR, and taught at higher education institutions in undergraduate and graduate courses. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Brasília (UnB), Specialist in Public Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Administration from União Educação de Brasília (UNEB) and Technologist in Data Processing from the Catholic University of Brasília (UCB).

He has taught courses, training and lectures in the area of cybercrime investigation, digital forensics and information security at events such as National Information Security Forum, ICoFCS – International Conference on Forensic Computer Science, CNASI – Information Security, Audit and ICT Governance Congress, Cyber Security Meeting, SecureBrasil, SISP Information and Communications Security Conference, RoadSec, (ISC)2 Security Congress Latin America, Fecomercio Electronic Crimes Congress, UCB Regional Informatics School, among others. He is Administrative Director of HTCIA (High Technology Crime Investigation Association) – Brazil chapter.

He is an official instructor of Cellebrite Mobile Forensics Fundamentals (CMFF), Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO), Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA), Cellebrite Corporate Investigator Fundamentals (CCIF) and Cellebrite Advanced Smartphone Analysis (CASA) courses from Cellebrite, and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA) from EC-Council. He is a mentor for Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response (FOR 508), Hacker Techniques, Exploits & Incident Handling (SEC 504) and Security Leadership Essentials for Managers (MGT 512) courses from SANS Institute, having also been a mentor for the Computer Forensic Investigations – Windows In-Depth (FOR 408) course.

He holds certifications CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), GCFA (GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst), GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler), GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certified), GISP (GIAC Information Security Professional), Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO), Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA), Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification (CCFC) and Chainalysis Reactor Certification (CRC).
