Integrity

Integrity, within the concept of the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability) of cybersecurity, ensures that information will always be correct and provided reliably to authorized users.

In some cases integrity may be dependent on confidentiality, such as in a banking transaction. In other situations it may be independent, as is the case in verifying a digital signature (or hash).
